Creating purpose-built state of the art computer vision technology, Positronic built a software service that programmatically completes all of the image manipulation routines that were, until then, manual steps for human processors.

Irregular-shaped cropping

Positronic generated novel mathematical routines to programmatically crop irregularly shaped coins.

Rotate & classify

Positronic employed data science to create a service that programmatically classifies as obverse & reverse of a set of coins, selects the best image for each, and rotates those coin images into an up-right position.
